Served only in 10 oz glasses rather than the normal pint. A golden English-style ale with a slight white head that is appropriate for its English roots. The smell is English hop dominated maybe Fuggles and East Kent Goldings? However this ale is also very malty, which is a bit suprising for an I.PA., I think English malts are used and perhaps some brewing sugar as well as the beer has a nice alcohol warmth to it along with a a slight sweetness that does not appear to be from domestic malts. This beer was very drinkable, although it might be better served from a cask at cellar temperatures rather than ice cold from the tap.
