A nice dark brown body, but the head disappears too quickly for a bock. The smell is very malty with a slight hop nose. the taste is smooth and malty, with a roastiness lingering in the background along with the hops bitterness. This is a tame bock, but very drinkable and goes along well with the pub food served in the front of the restaurant.
