Pours an amber/brown...impressive looking...clean....nose is toasty and sweet..also a hint of alcohol...body is pretty substantial...toasty start on the buds become sweeter deeper in...rich and hearty....I'm guessing the ABV is a bit higher than most o-fests..well worth trying....solid beer from start to finish but perhaps a little rich for those who enjoy kciking this style back quickly and easily..

Nice auburn/orange tone to this brew. Good clarity. Shallow off white head on top with average retetention. The body of this beer is about medium or so. Carbonation seems to be spot on. The taste comes through with some nice toasted malt tones and a little breadiness. Good solid maltiness though. No bitterness or hoppiness is perceived. Balance is acheived though as there is nothing cloying about the sweet, malty character of this beer. Solid ofest.

This is a passable amber lager for a brewpub -- nothing distinctive to rise about the crowd.

The beer pours a nice amber color with a decent head. The aroma is lacking the deep malty and toasted of the best marzens. The flavor is not very complex, some nice caramel notes as it warms.

All in all a decent beer, but Hereford & Hops brews better ones.
