Very nice fruity nose...fruity like sweet melons and some strawberries...spritzy gold color with a small white lace...fruity taste up front, then finishes dry...light bodied...a nice interpretation of the style...relatively tasty for being pretty light bodied... a nice summer changeup...

Nice deep straw colored hue. Carbonation is very steady. Nice white bubbly head retains well. Aroma is fragrant and fruity, a little malty and very slightly hoppy. Sweet and slightly caramelly maltiness is the first impression on tasting. There are some slight fruity tones. And a bit of dry, herbal hoppiness present in small doeses. Plus a definitive dash of mustiness. Nice body for a kolsch. A little better than medium. Maybe this could use a little longer lagering period to smooth things over a bit. Good enough beer, but not a great kolsch by any means.
