A very clean tasting and refreshing pumpkin ale, pours orange amber with a limited soft white head that lingers somewhat. The aroma is impressive: pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices dominate with slight malty sweetness underneath. The taste is malty, but not cloying, with both the spices, hop bitterness, and pumpkin flavors each taking a turn. The body and mouthfeel seems a bit light, but perhaps that is a given for this style. A very good season beer.
