Look: The beer pours a dark brown-red color with a nice medium sized head.
Smell: The smell is highly similar to Gluhwein. Sweet malts with ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and orange peel. All the spices that are added to this beer can actually be smelled. Very nice.
Taste: Way too sweet, full of brown sugar. On the label it says that sugar was added to this brew. WHY? With a little less sugar this could be a very nice beer. Again here, malts, with all the spices that are added, are very easy to recognize, with a very outstanding orange peel flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body with medium carbonation
Overall: Way too sweet, and although the smell is truly fantastic, I couldn’t finish it. Without added sugar, probably a very nice warming winter brew, with the sugar, better stay away from it. Happy I could try it though!
