Had this with some onion rings at the San Jose brew pub location. Looked good in the shaker, with a dark brown color and some lacing on the glass. A faint, roasted malt aroma, and the taste was light for a dark beer, with roasted malt and a grassy bitterness. Well balanced, but just not a lot of flavor or complexity going on here. I found the carbonation too aggressive, which effected the overall drinkability of this one. Not a bad brew, just not a particularly good one, either.
