Crowler from brewery. Dark brown, small frothy beige head. Rich, roasty aroma, chocolaty notes. Taste is a creamy lush mouthfeel of lightly roasted malts and mildly bitter chocolate, light sweetness. Reaaly, really good, head and shoulders above their other beers that I've tried.

Bottle purchased at Finger Lakes Beer Company at Hammondsport, NY.

Pours a dark, deep brown, almost black, with a 1 inch head, and minimal lacing.

Aromas include chocolate, some mild vanilla, and roasted malt.

Similar flavors. Some sweet vanilla is present initially, followed by dark, bitter chocolate, and roasted malt. A slight smokiness is also noticeable.

Medium bodied, slightly watery at times. Low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.

The best from this brewery, for sure.
