Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Man, seriously, classy cans. Hopefully this "American pilsner" tops its IPA cousin... It pours a clear sunshine brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mild sweet flowers and cereal grains, the latter trending toward a faint corn syrup situation as time marches on. The taste brings in more of the same, with a bit of grass in the background ostensibly standing in for a hop bite. The body straddles the border between hefty light and light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a sad pils to say the least, one that eschews the traditional noble hop character in favor of an apparently American meekness.
