Beer has a nice golden color with a decent head. Had a good grainy pilsner aroma. The taste is a bit sweet and ends with just a bit bitterness. It has a medium body and goes down smooth & easy. Very drinkable and a good solid pilsner. Didn't know that Diebels made a pilsner, but was well worth the find.

BB 28-10-05. Poors in with a nice head that's lasting very well and leaving laces at the glas. Golden and crystal clear beer.
Nose is very hoppy with litle maltyness in the back and only yeastarome; just as a pilsener should be. Taste is good and dry, litle malty with moderate bitterness. If bitterness would be litle higher this one would be a favorite for me. Have to say I was very sceptic seeing a Pils from Diebels but hell if it's good why not! This one is good and it's a pleasure for your tasting pupils and very well drinkable. Certainly worth a try if you're into German pilseners.
