On tap at the Wild Wolf bar. An American IPA/Witbier hybrid featuring citra hops.

A: The IPA is light, a pale straw color that is just hazy enough to be opaque. A white head, pure white, leaves plenty of lace in its wake.

S: The aromas are primarily citra hops - orange zest and citrus. Cascade was a dry hop addition, adding more citrus to the brimming nose. The witbier's light spiciness is lost amongst the citra and cascade.

T: The citra runs rampant in the IPA, it's citrus zest a stunning accompaniment to the tender witbier flavors. Yes, they do come through with mild coriander and curacao complimenting the citra's flavor. The bitterness of the IPA is adamant, standing out as the strongest flavor. An ale that nicely brings out both the citra star power and the soft witbier tendencies.

M: A well-made combination - both sets of flavors have their time to stand out. The citra is gentle enough to support the witbier. If not for the uniqueness of the BRT imperial wit, I would have taken this in a growler.
