Bottle: Poured a hazy dark burgundy color ale with a large dark off-white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of dep caramelized malt notes with some light oak, toffee and warming alcohol notes. Taste is also a mix of grainy malt notes with some caramelized malt, light toffee with some light residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good level of carbonation. Enjoyable but malt bill could be slightly cleaner.
