Pours Golden with nicely laced white head, floral and subtle citrus notes balance out this nice standard “Yorkshire Tweedy” IPA.
Hold on, strange second round is now amber color and more malty / buttery sweet with laced bitter IPA notes after Tender Greens changed the keg. Still good but totally different.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of Oct 2014. Picked up a while back from a supermarket. A relatively new brew from a young Yorkshire microbrewery.
Poured into a tulip pint glass. A golden-amber hue with faint haze and light carbonation. Yields a small head of white foam that lasts for a minute or two before disappearing. Aroma of grassy floral hops with a subtle fruity character and hints of grainy caramel malt and earthy yeast. A whisper of diacetyl in the background. Not bad.
Tastes of spicy aromatic hops with a lingering bitter finish. Notes of grass/hay, noble hops, faint citrus, caramel malt, ale yeast, earthiness and stewed hops. Well-attenuated, followed by a restrained, leafy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with soft carbonation and good body. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of grassy aromatic hops, mild stewed leaves and subtle caramel.
A decent, if not outstanding IPA. Looks a tad lacklustre, however the aroma and flavour are a satisfying mix of English-style hop notes and mild caramel malt. Body is alright. Nicely balanced, with some spicy hop character to add depth. Goes down easily enough; worth sampling if you come across it.
