June special release to celebrate the Tour de France passing this Yorkshire brewery. Good looking red to chestnut coloured beer with an offwhite head. The nose is rather peppery. The first sniff seemed to reveal yeast, but that promptly disappeared. It has a slightly peppery flavour with caramel and toffee. Eventually a pleasant but muted spicy hop finsih becomes apparent, but the hops could do with being much bolder here.
