There is a sweaty, barbequed meaty quality on the nose when you first inhale this beer. In the glass has a brown and slightly hazy appearance. Certainly looks like a dubbel. Light to medium bodied and spritzy in the mouth this first tastes rather meaty as well with a slightly medicinal quality. This soon evolves into a more candy sugar taste which dominates and becomes its strongest attribute. In the end it delivers in taste and the 8% ABV is well hidden.
