Pours hazy amber with slight white head. Notes of sweet barley wine, pineapple, grapefruit, citrus and honey. Great barley wine brew.

On draft at SBC. Mostly clear yellow body. Sweet and big caramel sweetness, a bit of sugar, tons of flowery resin as well. It's sweet but also mildly bitter on the backend, essentially big malt for which a heavy bittering hop presence has been added but without much aromatics. It's good, but could use more complexity to it which the malt seems to cover up. Medium lighter bodied; light and dry for a barleywine, decent hop bite on the backend.

Pours clear, blonde in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is honey, mineral, and English toffee. Medium-heavy bodied, low carbonation, and very sweet. Drinks more like an English barleywine. Very sweet...too sweet in places. Kind of middle of the pack as far as barleywines go. Not bad, but I like several others in the style.
