Pours a cloudy, opaque orange that turns into a burnt orange when the last bit of the bottle is poured into the glass. Noticeable sediment pouring out of the bottle at the end, although minor. Head foams up quickly, and retains well. Head formation peaks at around 3 fingers, even after a modest pour, with lacing splattered around well. Aroma is peach, pear, green apple, with a wildflowery-yeasty note behind. Really pleasant, tart orchard smell. Flavor profile is tart, with notes of peaches, pear, and green apple. A little yeast hits at the back, with a natural, wildflower quality to it. Flavor profile lingers for a long while on the palate, but never turns sour, and never gets muddled or mashed by too many notes. A little yeast spice heat hits at the end. Mouth feel is medium-thick, with an expanding, foamy feel - almost like a champagne. Overall, a fantastic IPA that provides some really unique hop notes compared with most IPAs on the market. Nice tart quality, and yet readily drinkable. The expanding mouth feel and tart green apple and pear notes really lend this beer to tasting like a well-made champagne, just with a more beer-like vibe.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 375mL bottle.
