330ml bottle from Beer52.com (£0.37):
Awful stuff from Ilkley here, this one was up there with the most disappointing beers I've had in the last year or so whilst still remaining drinkable. It was quite a bland & very basic beer with some pale malts & grain that actually made it seem more like a cheap pale lager with some fruit sitting in the background & a hint of caramel further on. I didn't enjoy this one at all sadly, it seemed poorly executed & is one that I'd definitely avoid in future, in fact I imagine this will probably be my last Ilkley beer for some time too given how uninspiring I found this one to be.

Bottle. Gold coloured. Wispy head.
Grainy aroma. Indistinct fruity hops.
Tastes like a bitter euro lager with a lemon plug.
Well carbonated.
Nah. Didn't get my juices flowing.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark gold, no carbonation, small & short-lived head. Long-lasting aroma of pale malt with subtle citrus notes. Tastes of lager malt & orange peel. Light body with some stickiness and a dry finish. Light, refreshing golden ale with citrusy hops and characteristics of a lager.
