Poured from 500mL can into a dimpled mug. Best by 8/13/26.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: slightly sweet malt that's a bit adjunc-ey; it's not offensive but it's not very special.

Taste: kind of a bland, grainy malt flavor with a mild bitterness and some slightly lemony hops. It is not full of traditional macro adjunct flavors (like the plasticy or super corny notes some such beers can have), but it's also really not that interesting.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with an okay carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: just another macro lager, but not a gross one.

Purchased at the Albert Hypermarket in Pilsen, Czech Republic, and drunk a week later in Schechen, Bavaria.

L: Dark, burnished gold with a fluffy, short-lived white head. Lots of carbonation in the glass.

S: Sour, yeasty, grainy malt.

T: Moderate earthy bitterness, darkish yet sweet malts, and a bitter, burnt toast aftertaste.

M: Carbonation is moderate, as is carbonic prickle.

O: A malt-forward and bitter pilsner that is quite enjoyable.

Cheers!

Overall a nice pilsner, but nothing special. Goes down the throat easily and fast.

Poured from a can (made and canned in czech republic) to a sierra nevada 16oz shaker

Visual: It's a very pretty beer. Dark golden hued, very little foam though, some when poured, but it quickly goes away leaving no traces, not even little lacing.

Smell: a very nice smell full of lemon pie, some pine, toasted bread. very inviting.

Mouth: Very very balanced pilsner. A nice blend of hops and malt that evokes a lot of memories on the palate. Toasty sweet soda bread, bitter limoncello, orange, pine, slightly sticky (more so when warmish, you should def. drink this slightly colder), on the back of the mouth) you can feel some fresh hay. The hops are very well balanced, nice session beer. Almost no carbonation.

Aftertaste. Longish aftertaste, slightly sticky and bitter. Not that refreshing.

All in all a very typical pilsner. Beware though if you buy it canned outside czech republic, make sure it says brewed and canned (or bottled) in czech republic, because the ohter bottlings are really utter shit.
