Named after Bellefonte native, Anna Keichline, the first registered female architect in Pennsylvania, the Keichline is a Belgian Blonde Ale brewed with a subtle combination of malt and hops and finished with a Belgian yeast that produces notes of clove with a touch of banana.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a hazed golden yellow color with a thick billowy white head of foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass
Smell – The aroma of the beer is biggest of a bready and slightly spicy aroma with the spice being a nice blend of pepper and clove. Along with these aromas comes some yeasty smells bringing with them aromas of banana as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and yeasty flavor upfront with some flavors of banana and spice being there as well. A bit of a orange and apricot flavor develop more as the taste advances with some more banana and yeast joining in. The spice starts getting stronger more toward the end of the taste with pepper and clove being the dominant two. In the end with the advent of the spice, and with the mix of bready and fruity, one is left with a rather crisp and clean flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on slightly thinner side overall with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. Quite nice and it makes for a clean and crisp sipper.
Overall – A very enjoyable and tasty blond with some nice fruit flavors and a great easy drinking feel.
