I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with ruby edges and tan head that is leaving some lace. The scent had wonderful French toast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet caramel malt base with Maple and grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Drank from off tap in 16 oz pint glass from brewery in Bennington. Smells of maple and syrup. Slight bitter malt up front with smooth syrupy taste - like french toast - on the backend. Very good. Not too sweet or overwhelming. A really great brown ale

16oz pour at the brewery/restaurant in Bennington, VT
Semi-opaque brown with bubbly head, smells like maple syrup, cinnamon, toasted malts, taste is cinnamon toast crunch with hints of maple syrup, body is slightly thin. French toast indeed!
