Friend of mine brought a growler of this back from skiing in late Jan09 but I lost my notes until now....

A: Poured into a heffe glass to reveal a cloudy sun and with lots of moving particles and a finger and half bullet hole pocketed white sheet head.

S: YEAST! Now this is what I call a microbrew wheat beer for the winter or just a very yeasty batch. Nevertheless I enjoyed the citric tints as well.

T: Followed the nose as well as a great strong wheat taste. I have not had an unabashed strong wheat in some time. This is not for those who enjoy Wheat-Ales. Full of coriander and banana backboned by yeast.

M: Thick and smooth together holding the flavors together as it hits your tongue. Gets lighter as it sits with time, but that's only because your not drinking fast enough.

D: Big whiffed wheat with medium to heavy body. Overall a beer I will get a growler of again.

Sampled at the brewery in May of '08. Poured off the tap at true gold color and completely clear. No haziness? Odd for the style (Witbier). Aromatic nose of floral hops, coriander and some citrus. The flavors were clean and fresh ,wheat, some subtle spices and a crisp hops character. Became more lemony as it warmed up but still lacked depth. Light to medium body and light carbonation made this beer summery and typical of the style. Smooth and drinkable, also sessionable but lacking in distinction. Just another Belgian White in a market full of them.
