Poured from tap at the pub in Bennington; assume fresh. Pours deep, solid red with two fingers of head that slowly recedes. Subtle notes of sweet bread and caramel with a tinge of hops on the end. Very good.

Taster at brewery. Dark, clear amber, wispy head. Aroma is tree bark. Taste is super sweet, sugary, then fades to nothing. Not a lot of malt character here
