BB 08-07. Huge head and a lightly amber and cloudy beercollor. Nose is litle sour, sharp peppery, litle butterscotsh, citrussy and very caramellic candy together with some maltiness. Taste is very dry, litle sour and cherries in alcohol. Woww this is very alcoholic, overpowering every taste except for a bitter ending. Mouthfeel also hurts cause of unbalanced high alcohol and emptyness further of the brew. High carbonisation makes mouthfeel even more watery. Drinkable but wonder if it was even enjoyable to me.... guess not.
Retried 9-12-06. Lots of strawberry and orange arome, straw. Phenolic oaklike portarome. Sharp still after this rest, peppery in mouthfeel and still unbalnced. Hope this batch was not the way it should as I guess it will be very hard to find adoration for this one and that from a brewery that also brings out fine stuff.
