L- Mid gold, pours slightly hazt, eager 7cm off-white foam cap (poured carefully!). Holds well and forms lacing on the way down.
S- Moderate Belgian yeast esters, nice.
T- Bold on the front, straight into mega Belgian esters, suggestions of ample ABV% and a hoppy dry twist in the finish. Nicely done.
F- A good candidate for slow-sipping over the Yule-tide season. The esters+ABV% combine to yield a notably robust feel.
O- A show-case of both a winter Belgian + a solid estery aspect. Balances very well, nothing to object to here at all. I'd happily drink this again, though mahn it doesn't come cheap.
330ml flip-top bottle. The lable features six red oak-leaves on a white background. BB: 09/26 £6 from Beers of Europe, UK.
