A 375ml foiled, corked and caged bottle, with a best before date of 26th February 2020. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: A murky cloudy copper colour with a very thin sparse clear head and no lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, sour, barleywine-ish, dark fruit, plum, prunes, apple juice, grapes, caramel and toffee.
Taste: Sour, light tartness, dark fruit, plum, prunes, apple juice, grape, syrupy, oak, lemon, lightly malty.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Possibly past it’s prime, but still within best before date. Doesn’t feel anywhere near 10.5% ABV as the alcohol is well hidden. Carbonation was way too soft for my liking and was my main negative.

375ml bottle, the top of the foil is dated 26/02/20, poured into a To Øl teku glass.
The beer pours a dark amber color, fairly clear with a thick bone colored head, good retention yielding spots of lace. The aroma is fine, strong caramel and amber grain, light green apple, strong alcohol and a bit of citrus peel. The flavors are okay, tart green apple, a bit of apricot and nectarine flavor, grapefruit citrus and strong amber and caramel grain. The mouthfeel is pretty thick and syrupy, coating with a tart and warm finish.
Verdict: Not sure of this beer from To Øl, the Berliner Weisse style is meant to offer a nice array of bright flavors in a light and effervescent package. This is completely counter to that philosophy and I'm not sure it works.

Beautiful dense orange color with tiny floating yeast. Solid lacing. Tropical, nectar- like, apricot aroma. Pleasantly tart with distinctive fruit. Minimal wheat character. Medium body, high carbonation, dry yet sticky finish. Very good.

Wow, never had anything like this before. It pretty much follows the commercial description- hoppy imperial Berliner weisse! Extreme for sure. And very well executed. Stuff's good.

Poured from a 330ml bottle into a tulip.
A: Pours a deep amber with orange highlights with a frothy white head that dissipates slowly and laces well.
S: Funk, grapefruit and some sweet fruit like mango or passionfruit.
T: A clean tart bite that smoothes out quickly. A little watery on the back end, but the sweet fruit notes remain, with a little more grapefruit on the palate.
M: Smooth medium body with lots of tight carbonation that scrubs the palate well.
O: I liked this a lot once the flavors settled in. I would like a little more through the middle, but the fruit flavors complimented the bright sourness well. At 10.5%, this a big beer in a thin body that does a good job hiding the alcohol from you like that square friend at a party.

Pours an amber coloring with one finger foam head. Head disappears moderately quick with good lacing. Smells more like alcohol then I expected. Balanced taste, sour with good finish.
