Black color with mocha head. Aroma has sweet, syrupy malt and some booze. Taste follows with sweet malt, roasted notes and some coffee bitterness on the finish. Medium plus body with soft carbonation. Quite good overall but I remember the Maelk series being more impressive a few years ago.

Black color with beige head, intense aroma of dry red wine, liqueur, coffee and chocolate, taste starts medium sweet, ends lightly bitter, lightly sour, full body, worth to try it.

To Øl takes the bet on big sweet stouts, and well this works.
It pours a pitch black body with a huge mocha head. Good lacing all along.
Apart from the obvious coffee presence, the hops are strong in the aroma. It's earthy, somehow piney and floral. Very boozy. As it warms up, vanilla comes along with boozy raisins and cherries.
The taste sweet which makes the booziness and the high roastiness more bearable. The earthy bitterness is strong and with some mineral and smokey notes remind you of some world class peat whiskeys.
The mouthfeel is soft and a bit syrupy.
This sipper reminds you more of a boozy irish coffee than a café au lait.
It's a strong and bold beer
