On-tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a narrow collar of light tan bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of cola are present in the nose.
T: The taste starts off with flavors of dark malts and cola and finishes with notes of tart and sour cherries.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and somewhat tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting take on a porter—it's both tart and a little sour.
Serving type: on-tap

Dark brown color where no light passes through. Small head, but extensive latticed lace.
The smell is full of powdered cocoa, chalk, but no cherries.
While the flavor is like aPorter, there's a mild soured berry in the background. The body is full with a moderate carbonation level. The finish is lightly tart with some chocolate elements. The aftertaste has a surprising introduction of bittering hop.

375 ml bottle, Beer Necessities, Bristol - Pours dark brown with a large tanned foamy head. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Aroma - Dark stoned fruit notes, roasted coffee/malts, toffee feel. Taste - Sour front, dark stoned fruits, roasted coffee/malts, long, dry bitter finish. Lot going on in this brew. A little too bitter for my tastebuds.
