Copenhagen 9/4 2019. 50 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop. The usual Ms design that resembles a paint commercial more than a beer can design.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam managing to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fruity sweet with a strong, sourish and funky streak. Sweet pear mingling with unripe berries and citrus. Cheese and brett. Light salty notes.
Fairly strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by strong tart and acerbic sourness. Aftertaste is sour and sharp. Lingering.
Fine sour gose with a delicate touch of funk.

500 ml can into tulip glass, best before 6/19/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, sea salt, hay, straw, herbal, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, smoke, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, seaweed, sea salt, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, sea salt, hay, straw, herbal, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, smoke, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tang/tartness; light herbal/grassy bitterness, and peppery Brett spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, sea salt, hay, straw, herbal, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, peppercorn, light leather/funk/vinegar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, seaweed, sea salt, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic/tangy, and lightly sticky/saline balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an incredible gose! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, seaweed, sea salt, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Not overly lactic or salty. Amazing well rounded Brett/Lacto complexity, balanced earthy seaweed, and a solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example as expected. They seem to always nail their sours.
