Copenhagen 12/12 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerælled torv, Kbh. Ø. Picture of three Christmas Garden Gnomes on the label.
Pours murky maroon with a big fluffy, off.white head. Settles as thick, uneven, crown of foam totally obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sourish odor with a boozy, sweet scent just underneath. Dark fermented fruit, sweet cherries. Tart berries and a light touch of vinegar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger citric sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sour tang. Lingers for a while. Finish is sour and dry.
Refreshing take om a Christmas beer where the sourness is garnered by some sweet boozy fruit.

Served in a oversized wine glass from the can.
Appearance: Dark pink color with light sediments and on off-white head which had an initial rise of maybe two and half fingers length.
Smell: Yeast aroma which has a hard hint of cherries to the nose.
Taste: Sour like yeasty and fruity plus a touch fruit sweet. Has a candied sugar cherry sweetness to the beer but a tartness which is hard to forgive. This could also be the age of the can, so please forgive me.
Mouth: full carbonation coming off extra bubbly.
Overall: Took me a while but I finally got to review this antique. Good brew, I wouldn't chase the world over it. An in-betweener made to cleanse the palate. Salud!

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.1%. Brewed with redcurrants, cherries and prunes. Very cloudy pinkish colour, large off-white / pale pinkish head. Strong aroma of said fruits / berries, also lactic acid. Flavour of lactic acid and sour fruits / berries, esp. redcurrants. Moderate but noticeable hops. Fairly nice beer.

-opaquely cloudy, amber can pour with a purple hue and a rush of pink foam on every pour. The aroma is a bit earthy with sumac and some lemon notes. The flavor is mildly tart and quite fruity; strawberries and lime dominate. This is a unique brew, perhaps my favorite of the style.

Murky plum color with slightly purple head. Aroma has tart fermented fruits and some yogurt notes. Taste follows, tart and fruity but the yeast notes seem somehow "dirty". Medium body and carbonation. Decent but the yeast seems a bit weird.

Poured into a tulip. Hazy light pink with a massive stiff pink-tinged head that p ushed its way above the rim. Looked like egg whites. Head persisted through the entire glassfull, lots o f lacing.
Typical BW aroma and berry notes.
The prunes really came through among the other fruit notes and balanced out the sharpness of the cherries and currants. Really delicious.

500 ml can into tulip glass, best before 8/29/2019. A bit of a gusher can. Pours opaquely hazy dark ruby red/purple/pink color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light pink head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy/soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy cherries, red currants, prunes, fruit skin/pits, plum, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, berries, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cherries, red currants, prunes, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy cherries, red currants, prunes, fruit skin/pits, plum, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, berries, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, herbal/grassy bitterness, and yeast/fruit tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy cherries, red currants, prunes, fruit skin/pits, plum, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, berries, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, white bread dough, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, red currants, prunes, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/tartness, and tangy fruit balance; with minimal puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a smooth, creamy, bready, sticky, acidic, tangy, tannic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an awesome fruited Berliner weisse. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, red currants, prunes, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and bready malt flavors; smooth and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/sticky/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Awesome balance of jammy cherry/currant/prune fruits and Brett/Lacto complexity; and a great bready malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering bitter/tart/tangy dryness. Not nearly as amazing as the other "Ton" series beers I've had; a bit too bitter/drying, but still delicious. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example otherwise.

From a tall aluminum can, decorated with Christmas garden gnomes. The beer opens with an explosive gasp. Plenty of head and activity with this beer. It is a hazy brown color with a tall, thick, intense, long-lasting head. The aroma is of tart cherries. Slightly sour aroma, mixed with a little fresh grain and malt. Fresh, fruity, and wonderfully interesting.
