Copenhagen 14/1 2021. 33 cl bottle from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. S. True to the name a black label with a little band at th bottom going from light grey to black. Very monochrome.
Pours very dark brown - almost black - with a big dark beige head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, roasted odor mingling with a coffee bitter scent. Dark, roasted malts. Bitter chocolate, coffee of the bitter variety. Earthy touch of leather of tobacco.
Light carbonation. Thick, soft, smooth, viscous, fat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sugary undertone. Lingering. Semi-dry finish with a boozy edge.
Fine dry, bitter, boozy Imperial Stout.

Imperial multigrain stout with wheat, flaked oats, rye, and buckwheat. Very good taste to this beer, had it in the US at the new Mikkeller brewery at Citi Field.
