Copenhagen 14/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. The label reminds me of a New Order Maxi Cover of the Eighties. Big grey block with small colored fields and a lofty cloudy sky.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is bit subdued, sweet, citric and slightly lemonade-ish. Peach, Blood Orange. Citrus and Lemon. Tart berries. Hints of Wheat malts.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, very lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong citric sourness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Refreshing and with enough bitter bite to be interesting.
