Copenhagen 17/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Hovedbanegården, Kbh. K. Pink roses and a broad orange band running horizontally on the label.
Pours hazy, orange amber with a big dense white head. Stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a strong, rough, sour scents and a quite distinctive smell of alcohol. Sweet pale malts, white sugar. Sour grains, floral sweet scent, mustard, citrus and grapefruit. Boozy notes of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and laden with alcohol. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry and boozy.
Quite the boozy bomb. If you like your DIPA potent and immensely boozy this is a good offering.
