Copenhagen 15/1 2021. 44 cl can from Kvickly, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Split illustration on the can with one side showing a garden chair on a lawn and the other something blistering hot.
Pours unclear copper red with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with roasted notes. Dark roasted malts, caramel, toffee. Dark fruits. Apricot and plum. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet with a boozy touch.
Moderate nose but a headstrong flavor.
