Copenhagen 27/1 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. White can with a lot of small photos of everything from a flower, roadwork and an extremely boring building.
Pours opaque hazy, slightly dirty, amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented, fruity odor with hints of decay subduing a more gentle citric scent. Mango, passion fruit and peach gone bad. A bit of sweet vanilla and alcohol peeking in. Citrus and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, slightly greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet fermented undertone with a healthy touch of alcohol. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
Immensely potent without being overly boozy.
