Copenhagen 12/6 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Quite strange design with a bottom part of the can which is pink and where then name of the beer is repeated and a colorful to part.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer fo foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and bit sugary with a scent of tropical fruit mingling with sugared coconut. Pineapple and peach. Lactose. Hints of salt.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is tart with salty tang. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
More Flavoring than Gose.

Never saw or heard of this brewery until I found this at Joe Canal's in Woodbridge a few weeks back. This looked interesting and different, and that it certainly was as I can't say that I've ever had anything like this before! This was fun, easily accessible, true to style, and didn't last long as it was right balance between salty and sour.
This had a lovely pour to it as it was cloudy, peachy, and topped off with a thick, even, long-lasting head that was quite the complement to the liquid. Lots of lacing left behind although most of it was in a thick mass of suds without much of any rings visible except for near the top of my glass. Coconut, pineapple, and peach were all in the nose as the taste was just as juicy, dank, and moderately sweet. Not a lot of yeast, nor sour undertone, but it was here and offset nicely by the sweetness and hint of salt that gave this plenty of depth, with an fun sense to this from start to finish. Not heavily carbonated and moderately slick, this almost felt like store-bought fruit juice minus the high fructose corn syrup, as the body was plenty balanced.
This got more sour as it warmed up and I could feel it more in the aftertaste once the last sip went down. While not a true session beer, I could have easily had another after finishing this off had I bought more than one can. It would have been nice to be able to decipher the writing on the bottom of the can, to see how old this was but besides that, this was a quality example of the style. If you like Pina Coladas and dancing in the rain, skip the 70's music and reach for this instead, as it's much less likely to end up dated and more likely to be repeated down the road. Beer doesn't much more fun than this!
