Copenhagen 1/2 2022. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black label in To Øl's 45 Days brand design.
Pours almost clear dark brown with a red hue ans a small off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and bit sugared scent mingling with a healthy dose of alcohol. Caramel, toffee, sweet biscuits. Hints of brown sugar. Sharp alcohol lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light sourish touch. Lingers for a while Semi-dry, slightly boozy finish.
Sweet Caramel Brew.

a good dobbelbock this, black bread malt, quite bready, espresso and dark chocolate, cigar smoke, decent bit of caramel sweetness, lightly nutty, medium bitterness, medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, very drinkable for its strength, which is well hidden, nice combination of flavours, more good stuff from a great brewery
