Copenhagen 18/11 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Quite colorful can going from blue over orange and red into green.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with citric fumes and a touch of arm sweat. Mango, passion fruit and peach. Grapefruit and citrus. Hint of decay.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, creamy, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Manages to hide it's considerable ABV with a well balanced, citric flavor with just the right touch of arm sweat.

the 7th edition of the #dipa series, 4 was excellent, 5 was good, and somehow i missed 6 entirely, oh well, 7 finds itself right in the middle of 4 in 5 in terms of quality, it’s quite nice, lot of pine, citrus fruit, orange pith, pink grapefruit, bit of pineapple, some honey, sweet-ish but not really that sweet, dank, resin, medium to high bitterness, medium to full bodied with medium carbonation, on the cusp of being a very good ipa indeeed, but still quite good
