Copenhagen 25/12 2022. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Black label with all kinds of fonts dancing around.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Stable. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet almost candy-like odor with a boozy barrel scent saturated in dark alcohol. Brown sugar, cocoa and bitter dark chocolate. Bourbon and wood.
Light carbonation l. Medium thick, oily, fat, creamy, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is sugary yet semi-dry.
Potent, rich and sweet Bourbon boozer.
