Copenhagen 6/7 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Can in To Øl's usual metallic #-brand design in green shades.
Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fermented odor of overripe tropical fruit, petroleum and alcohol mingling with sour citrus fruit. Fermented mango and bruised peach. Whiff of grapefruit and citrus.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate but searing bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Potent and a little bit to the sweet and boozy side.
