Copenhagem 11/9 2021. 75 cl bottle from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. Simple pale yellow label simply stating the name of the beer and brewery.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty odor mingling with yeasty notes and a light whiff of citrus fruit. Sweet pale malts, bread and a musty odor mingling with the sweet scent of esters.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and slightly sugary.
A not overly Belgian take on a Belgian Blonde. But not a bad beer.
