This is an interesting one - the call it a Helles Bock, which is a style that I was not aware of before. Never ran into a Helles Bock, not sure if there are any others. First off, this is not a bock (based on the fact that it comes with ABV of only 5.7%) - even the name can change that, the name ending in the typical ...ator, which is otherwise common for the Starkbier style in Germany. Taste is quite sweet, definitely on the malty and caramel side of the spectrum. Hops hardly noticeable. Interesting, not a bad beer, but the designation as Bock beer is misleading.
