Copenhagen 11/12 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé. Frb. F. A pile of festive balloons on the can. Seems that people left the party early.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sugary sweet odor brimming with Christmas spice and a subtle scent of coffee. Brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and toffee. Black americano coffee.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a prominent sweet presence lurking in the background. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
They certainly serve a heavy cake at their anniversary party.
