This Italian Pilsner was brewed true to style - grassy and herbal from the hops, balanced with subtle complexity from a very light dry hop. It has a distinct bitterness, more than a German Helles or Czech Pils would have. It is light in color and malt flavor. It is aged a bit less than our other pilsners - this is intentional. The style is usually not aged more than 4-5 weeks and is unfiltered.

Copenhagen 13/7 2024. 44 xl can from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. Yellow can with the name of the beer repeated and some striped tape.
Pours slightly unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of citric notes. Sweet pale malts, bread and straws. Freshly mown grass. Citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Almost fizzy.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is fairly dry.
Clean and crisp - and not as sweet as many Italian Lagers.
