This is an imperial stout with 7 different types of malt that pushes all the boundaries – a little bit sweet, a little bit smoky, a little roasty, and a lot of chocolate, as well as lactose for creaminess. Aged about 1 year in cognac barrels.

330 ml bottle, vintage 2023, purchased from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, November 2024. ABV is 11.5%. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses, fusel, alcohol, chocolate, oak and cognac. Very sweet flavour with the same elements, warming mouthfeel, fairly bitter finish.
