Copenhagen 10/2 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Red label in To Øl’s usual design for their Nature series.
Pours opaque murky dark burgundy with a mid-sized pink head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with tart berries. Sweet plums, tart cherries, citrus and a light touch of vinegar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a tart, searing sourness. Aftertaste is tart and astringent. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
They managed to find some throughly sour cherries for this one.
