If every day can't be Xmas, at least 45 of them should be. Coincidentally it's long enough to slowly ferment and mature this crisp Vienna Lager, there to keep us company throughout this festive season.

Copenhagen 21/8 2022. 44 cl can from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. To Øl's usual 45 Days of.... design on a can going from green at the bottom to red in the top.
Pours unclear amber with big off-white head. Settles 0,5 cm thick layer of frothy foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a slightly toasted, malty odor. Toasted dark malts. Caramel, toffee, nuts and hints brown sugar. Whiff of dark berries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A bit generic Vienna where they have avoided adding a lot of Christmas spices.
