Copenhagen 1/10 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Light blue can with a confusing pattern of colorful rectangles with text.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fermented and a bit boozy odor of overripe stonefruits. Mingling with a more subtle scent of tart citrus fruit. Mango and bruised peach. Alcohol. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Not exactly a miracle - but a nice DIPA.
