This super sweet and intense barley wine is brewed in collaboration with 3 Sons Brewery in Florida. They're known for the gigantic beers, rich sweet stouts and barleywines. The base recipe is quite simple, but most of the colour and flavour comes from a long boil. And then, we let the yeast do the rest of the work to turn this into a 12% boozy treat.

Copenhagen 18/6 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. Grey can with a horizontal smattering of dark color.
Pours opaque murky, brownish amber with a small yellowish head. Bubbly. Disappears after a few seconds leaving dark tranquil waters behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet boozy and malty odor mingling with sharp grains of alcohol. Sweet brown. sugar and toffee. Syrup and dark alcohol. A bit metallic. Potent.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, sticky and flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong and sugary sweetness followed by a very modest sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is overwhelmingly sweet with a decent boozy burn. Lingering. Finish is sugary, sticky, alcohol.
Potent and sharp boozer drenched in sugary coating.
