Copenhagen 16/11 2022. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Orange fading into orange with a lot of text.
Pours opaque, murky, dark brown with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Disappears leaving no foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong, sugary potent odor of alcohol and Christmas pastries. Brown sugar, honey, almond liqueur, vanilla and hints of cinnamon and cardamom. Dark alcohol peeking in.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, bit greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intensewith heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of dark brandy. Lingering. I think I detect a little pancake puff in the finish.
Very wholesome and boozy. And I do believe that Tore and Tobias' Æbleskive is way bigger than mine.
